Students 1st utilizes a four step process to help your child receive the modifications and adaptations necessary to be a succesful student in the pulic school system.  A brief description of this process is:

1.The Initial Meeting  is an information-gathering session.  We meet you and your child and hear your story.  You tell us what you want from the public schools.

2. Preparation.  We review any documents you provide, and review applicable rules and regulations to develop a strategy for achieving your goals for your child.

3. The ARD or Section 504 Meeting, where we present our case to the school system regarding the modifications and accommodations that your child needs and deserves.

4. Follow Up.  We monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the agreed-upon modifications and accommodations, scheduling additional meetings as needed to ensure that your child's needs are met.
